Rodeo star Spencer Wright and his wife Kallie Wright are “trying to navigate what life is going to look like” following the death of their 3-year-old son Levi Wright.

Rodeo star Spencer Wright and his wife Kallie Wright are facing a heartbreaking tragedy. Their 3-year-old son, Levi Wright, passed away from injuries sustained in a toy tractor accident. A close family friend shared that the couple is “trying to navigate what life is going to look like” after their devastating loss.

The family is determined to keep Levi’s memory alive. “They are very adamant about wanting to make sure that his name doesn’t die,” said Mindy Sue Clark, who spoke with People in an interview published on June 5. The Wrights are considering starting a charitable foundation to honor Levi’s legacy “once the dust settles as much as it can for losing a child.”

Mindy, who grew up barrel racing with Levi’s mom, highlighted the broad impact of Levi’s story. “The reach that our little guy has had, I can’t even put it into words,” she said. “Every day, people from New Zealand, Australia, and Uganda are messaging us. It’s crazy.”

THE TRAGIC EVENT

Levi’s story has touched millions, becoming a significant movement. On May 21, first responders were called to a Utah river where Levi had driven his toy tractor. Despite life-saving measures administered at the scene and being transported to a local hospital in critical condition, Levi’s situation remained dire.

On June 2, Kallie shared on Facebook that Levi was being taken off life support. He passed away the next day. She wrote about their difficult decision after “several sleepless nights, lots of research, multiple conversations with the world’s best neurologists & millions of prayers.”

Kallie and Spencer, who also have a daughter, Steeley, 5, and a son, Brae, 9 months, are committed to ensuring Levi’s legacy continues, despite their profound loss.
