The 81-year-old Star Wars legend, who recently finished filming for Captain America: Brave New World, was seen sporting a sleek black puffer jacket, a matching tight T-shirt, and dark jeans during his outing.
Maintaining a low profile behind a pair of stylish dark sunglasses, Ford emerged from his luxurious black vehicle while carrying a propane hose. His ensemble was completed with black leather loafers as he navigated through a parking lot in Van Nuys.
This public appearance follows Ford’s humorous revelation about the omnipresence of the Indiana Jones theme song by John Williams in his life. In a recent cover story for Variety profiling Williams, Ford jokingly mentioned, “As I often remind John, his music follows me everywhere I go — literally. When I had my last colonoscopy, they were playing it on the operating room speakers.”
Additionally, Ford’s wife of over 21 years, Calista Flockhart, shared insights into their enduring relationship. Flockhart revealed that their secret lies in a lot of laughter, often stemming from the playful pranks they play on each other.
In an interview with The New York Times, she shared how they enjoy surprising each other with hidden antics, such as hiding around corners and using fake bugs to startle one another. Flockhart playfully referred to herself as the ‘Scare Monster’ at home due to her penchant for surprising Ford.
Their charming love story began at the 59th Golden Globe Awards in 2002, where they first met and subsequently started dating. Despite a significant 22-year age gap, with Ford being 60 at the time and Calista 38, their bond grew stronger over the years. After eight years of courtship, Ford proposed during a family vacation in 2009, leading to their marriage in 2010.
Ford’s previous marriages, first to Mary Marquardt with whom he had two children, and later to Melissa Mathison with whom he also had two children, ended in divorce.
