Former Vice President Kamala Harris has reportedly signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), a major Hollywood talent agency.
According to Variety, CAA will collaborate with Harris to create strategic opportunities that align with the issues she has championed throughout her career in public service.
This move follows in the footsteps of former President Joe Biden, who also rejoined CAA earlier this month. Biden was previously represented by the agency before entering the White House and has now returned to expand his post-presidency projects.
Kamala Harris Follows Bidenโs Lead in Partnering with CAA
Bidenโs re-affiliation with CAA was officially announced on February 3, with CAA co-chairman Richard Lovett praising him as one of Americaโs most respected and influential voices in both national and global affairs.
“His lifelong commitment to public service is one of unity, optimism, dignity, and possibility,” Lovett stated. “We are profoundly honored to partner with him again.”
During his initial partnership with the agency, Biden published his 2017 memoir, Promise Me, Dad, and embarked on a nationwide speaking tour, The American Promise, following his tenure as Vice President.
Now, Harris appears to be charting a similar path as she explores new opportunities after leaving office on January 20.
Harris Maintains a Low Profile Since Leaving Office
Since her departure from the White House, Harris has largely stayed out of the political spotlight. Over the past weekend, she was seen in New York City, where she attended Broadway performances.
However, her recent public appearance was not without controversy. Harris faced online criticism for a speech she gave to the cast of A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical. Some social media users mocked her remarks, calling them a “word salad” due to their vague and repetitive phrasing.
Despite the mixed reactions, Harrisโ new partnership with CAA signals a shift in her post-White House career, as she looks to expand her influence beyond politics. Whether through book deals, speaking engagements, or media appearances, the move positions her for a prominent role in the public sphere in the coming years.
