Laura Ingraham takes a jab at Taylor Swift, drawing criticism from her fans
Laura Ingraham, the host of The Ingraham Angle, recently sparked a wave of backlash from Swifties after offering some bold advice to the “Anti-Hero” artist. During her Thursday, Dec. 12 broadcast, Ingraham, 61, suggested that Swift should consider calling Donald Trump and offering to perform at his upcoming inauguration.
Ingraham claimed such a move would be “smart” for the pop superstar, adding that it could serve as “another great moment for unity for the country.” However, Swiftโs loyal fanbase didnโt seem to agree, making it clear they werenโt on board with the TV personalityโs proposal.
โCome on, Taylor. Are you ready for it?โ Laura Ingraham quipped, playfully referencing the pop starโs hit song, โ…Ready For It?โ during her segment on The Ingraham Angle.
The Fox News anchor didnโt stop there adding: โAnything is possible. It is almost Christmas,โ hinting at the seasonโs spirit of surprises. โWe have seen a lot of miracles this year.โ
However, Taylor Swiftโs dedicated fanbase, the Swifties, knows โAll Too Wellโ that the singer is unlikely to follow through with Ingrahamโs suggestion. Swiftโs political stance has been clear, particularly after endorsing the Democratic party during the 2024 presidential race.
