Forget about Jordan and LeBron, James Harden choses someone else as the basketball GOAT

The NBA star was a guest at the camp organized by his sponsor (Adidas) in Italy. It was an opportunity to engage with many young talents and to talk about himself, his relationship with basketball, and the legends of the past.

James Harden was the star attraction at the Adidas Eurocamp in Treviso, much to the delight of the many young participants. They had the chance to share the court and ask questions to an NBA superstar. “It was fantastic to be around so many young talents,” Harden told HoopsHype.

He spoke about his growth over the years and the players who inspired him. “Over the years, I’ve learned what’s important to me, and that’s all that matters. I try to keep away from negative energy, media discussions, and other distractions to focus only on what I can control.”

When asked about his ‘GOAT,’ Harden was clear: “There’s only one person who made me fall in love with the game, and that’s Kobe Bryant. Being from L.A., a Lakers fan, watching him grow and win titles… his passion and love for the game are what made me start playing basketball. So, my GOAT is Kobe.”
