First photos of Richard Gere and his 34-Year-younger wife after moving to Europe, Spain

One of the world’s most popular actors recently moved from the United States to his wife’s home country. The couple was recently spotted walking through Madrid.

Hollywood actor Richard Gere and his wife, Alejandra Silva, who is 34 years younger, have recently started a new chapter in their lives by trading their U.S. home for one in Europe.

The couple bought a house in northern Madrid and moved to Spain with their children. A few days ago, the Geres were spotted after a walk in El Retiro Park, and judging by their smiles, they seem to be enjoying life in Europe.

Richard Gere was dressed in jeans and a light jacket, while his wife, Alejandra, wore pants, a coat, and a turtleneck. Paparazzi couldnโ€™t miss her new lookโ€”she now sports a long bob hairstyle (lob) with romantic curtain bangs, a style that adds a youthful touch.

The actor and his wife moved to Spain with their sons, Alexander (5) and James (4). Gere had previously announced their move to his wifeโ€™s home country in an interview with the Spanish edition of Vanity Fair earlier this year.

“She was very generous, living six years in my world, so I think itโ€™s only fair for me to spend at least six years in hers,” Richard Gere said.

In the meantime, they sold their large ranch in New Canaan and have already settled into life in Madrid. The couple has also started attending events, recently appearing on the red carpet at a gala dinner hosted by the Spanish edition of Elle magazine.

The couple received an award at the ELLE Eco Award 2024 ceremony for their work with Silva’s Xala With Heart Foundation and the Sierra a Mar project.
