FIFA “The Best Coach of the Year”: Guardiola, Inzaghi, and Spalletti IN for the title.

The three coaches who will compete for the award, which will be presented on January 15, have been announced.

Pep Guardiola, Simone Inzaghi, and Luciano Spalletti. These are the three finalists who will compete for the title of the best coach of the year at the “FIFA The Best” awards in 2023. It’s a significant achievement for Italy, placing 2 local coaches out of three on the podium.

The FIFA awards, given annually in various categories, rely on online votes from fans, specialized journalists, national team coaches, and captains from all countries affiliated with the international football organization. It’s a prestigious recognition that certifies and rewards the protagonists of the season.

In September, the three finalists were initially part of a broader list that also included Xavi and the current coach of Tottenham, and former Australia and Celtic manager, Ange Postecoglou. However, the latter two have now been excluded from the final competition, which will be unveiled at the “The Best FIFA Football Awards” ceremony on January 15.

Competing against Inter’s coach and the current manager of the Italian national team, Pep Guardiola is the other candidate and favorite to win. Last season, he achieved an extraordinary feat by securing the “Treble” (Champions League, domestic league, and FA Cup) at the helm of Manchester City and is expected to take this award home.
