‘FIFA Club World Cup’ rankings: Inter already in, Milan and Napoli ‘K.O.’, Juventus one step closer.

While waiting for the official criteria to qualify for the competition that will take place in the United States in 2025, here are the two updated rankings.

“Despite remaining stagnant, Juventus takes another small step towards the Club World Cup 2025. The end of the Champions League group stage is coming to an end, and Milan and Napoli have not added any points to what they have accumulated so far, missing a golden opportunity to threaten the ‘Old Lady’ in the ranings.

But how does qualification work?

One thing is certain: no more than two teams per nation. The official criteria have not yet been communicated by FIFA, but it is already known that only points earned in the last four editions of the Champions League will count.

At the Club World Cup 2025, the competition that was strongly desired by FIFA President Gianni Infantino, 32 teams will participate between June and July, with 12 of them coming from Europe. In addition to the already qualified Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Manchester City – as winners of the last 3 editions of the main continental competition – the next winner of the Champions League, along with eight other clubs, will join the tournament.

How will they be selected? There can be no more than two teams per nation, but it remains to be seen which of the two calculation systems will be considered.
