Speaking on Dazn, ex Milan star Riccardo Montolivo discussed the Serie A title race while excluding his old team Milan from the battle for the title saying that their city rivals are just too strong at the moment:
“For me, I believe it is impossible for this Milan to compete with Inter for the Scudetto right now, they just stand no chance. They should try to stay close and finish in the top four, that would be a more realistic goal for the ‘Rossoneri’ right now”.
The former midfielder then concluded: “But If Inter were to lose Lautaro Martinez, as Milan lost Rafael Leao, they could face some real difficulties, and fortunes might just change.
