She’s got the mic, the momentum, and now, a family of her own.
Erin Andrews has long been a fixture on our screens, commanding NFL sidelines and hosting prime-time television. She’s also helped redefine what it means to be a woman in sports media. But behind the polished delivery and iconic game-day looks is a powerhouse who’s weathered personal storms and come back stronger.
With a booming podcast, a thriving fashion brand, and a baby boy at home, she’s showing the world that resilience is the real headline.
From Sidelines to Center Stage
Born in Maine and raised in Florida, Erin Andrews always knew sports would be part of her life. She just didn’t know how big. A self-proclaimed tomboy, she spent her childhood watching Celtics games with her dad, a broadcast journalist who helped plant the seed for her future in front of the camera.
After graduating from the University of Florida, where she danced for the Gators and majored in telecommunications, Andrews started her career covering regional teams for Fox Sports Florida and Turner South. By 2004, she had landed at ESPN and quickly became one of the network’s most recognizable sideline reporters.
Her breakout came on college football broadcasts, but it didn’t stop there. MLB, basketball, the Scripps National Spelling Bee. You name it, she covered it. And in 2010, a third-place finish on Dancing with the Stars made her a pop culture name, not just a sports one.
FOX Sports Royalty & Podcast Real Talk
Since 2012, Andrews has called FOX Sports home. In 2014, she took over as the lead NFL sideline reporter, joining the network’s top crew and becoming a mainstay at Super Bowls, playoffs, and all the moments fans never forget.
She’s not just a reporter, she’s a brand. Andrews co-hosts the hit podcast Calm Down with friend and fellow sportscaster Charissa Thompson, where the two ditch the filter and talk everything from sports gossip to wardrobe fails. The show is as raw as it is funny. And it’s given fans a front-row seat to the unfiltered version of Erin they rarely saw on TV.
A Brand All Her Own
Andrews isn’t stopping at broadcasting. In 2019, she partnered with Fanatics to launch WEAR by Erin Andrews, a stylish sportswear line designed especially for women. Think game-day gear that actually looks good — denim jackets, bomber coats, and everyday basics that let fans rep their teams with confidence.
She’s also been the face of CoverGirl and an ambassador for Orangetheory Fitness. In addition, she’s a passionate advocate for women’s health. She partnered with Hologic to launch We Can Change This STAT, a campaign encouraging women to stay on top of their annual checkups.
Marriage, Motherhood, and a Love That Lasted
Off the field, Erin keeps her personal life just that, personal. But her love story is one for the highlight reel. She began dating former NHL player Jarret Stoll in 2012. And after a few years of long-distance juggling, the two got engaged in 2016 and tied the knot in 2017.
In 2016, Erin was diagnosed with cervical cancer. It was a moment that changed everything. She underwent treatment while still covering NFL games and later opened up about her IVF journey with Stoll. In July 2023, the couple welcomed their son via surrogate, marking a new and deeply personal milestone in her life.
“It’s been a journey,” she said on her podcast. “But I wouldn’t change a thing.”
Still on the Field — and Still Unmatched
Two decades in, Andrews hasn’t lost a step. She’s still on the sidelines every NFL Sunday and still setting the standard for sports broadcasting. She’s also making time to empower women — in the booth, in the boardroom, and now in motherhood.
From cancer to courtroom battles, she’s faced everything. And yet Erin Andrews remains exactly what she’s always been: fearless, focused, and quietly formidable.
Game On — Always
From dance floors to Super Bowls, lawsuits to locker rooms, Andrews has done it all with grit and grace. She may be one of the most visible women in sports, but behind the headlines, she’s simply a fighter, a mom, a mentor. Аnd a true game-changer.
