Elon Musk has reportedly become a father once again, allegedly welcoming his 14th child with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis.
The news was shared directly on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, a platform Musk owns.
Zilis, 38, announced the birth of their son, writing:
“Discussed with Elon and, in light of beautiful Arcadia’s birthday, we felt it was better to also just share directly about our wonderful and incredible son, Seldon Lycurgus. Built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold. Love him so much ❤️.”
Musk, 53, responded with a simple “❤️” in the comments.
In addition to revealing their newest child’s name, the post confirmed details about another of Musk and Zilis’ children that had remained undisclosed.
Back in June 2024, Bloomberg reported that the pair had secretly welcomed a third child at the start of the year. Musk later addressed this report, pushing back against the secrecy claims.
“As for ‘secretly fathered,’ that is … false. All our friends and family know. Failure to issue a press release, which would be bizarre, does not mean ‘secret,’” he told Page Six the next day.
The Bloomberg article, titled “Elon Wants You to Have More Babies,” focused on Musk’s well-documented concern about declining birth rates. In response, he told Page Six:
“Many countries are already well below replacement rate, and the trend is that almost all will be. This is simply a fact, not a ‘debunked theory.’”
He also referenced World Bank fertility statistics, emphasizing that a birth rate of 2.1 children per woman is necessary for population replacement, warning that global numbers are soon expected to drop below that threshold.
Musk’s Growing Family
Musk and Zilis previously welcomed twins, Strider and Azure, in November 2021. The billionaire later expressed his belief in large families, stating in July 2022:
“Bravo to big families.”
When asked how many children he hopes to have, he responded:
“As many as I am able to spend time with and be a good father [to].”
The twins were born just one month before Musk and singer Grimes welcomed their daughter Exa Dark Sideræl via surrogate. Musk also shares two other children with Grimes and six with his ex-wife, Justine Wilson.
Paternity Lawsuit Filed Against Musk
While Musk has yet to comment, speculation about his 14th child is further fueled by a paternity lawsuit filed by Ashley St. Clair, a 26-year-old conservative activist.
St. Clair is seeking sole custody of her 5-month-old son, claiming Musk is the father. According to court documents, she stated that she is certain about the child’s paternity because she “did not have sexual intercourse with any other male during the time the child was conceived.”
Her filing includes a photo of her holding the newborn in the hospital, allegedly sent to Musk. According to her, he responded:
“I look forward to seeing you and him this weekend.”
Additionally, St. Clair claims Musk expressed a desire to have more children with her, allegedly texting her in November 2024, “I want to knock you up again,” and sending a similar message as recently as February 2, 2025, stating:
“Well, we do have a legion of kids to make.”
As Musk continues to expand his family, the latest revelations add yet another layer of intrigue to his personal life. Whether he publicly addresses the lawsuit or his latest addition remains to be seen.
