Dybala:”I had 5 missed calls from Mou after we won the World Cup. This is what he said to me”

The curious anecdote revealed by ‘La Joya’ right after winning the World Cup in Qatar with Argentina.

Winning the World Cup is not a small feat. Imagine how many messages and calls Paulo Dybala might have received right after their victory in Qatar, following the penalty shootout against France. Well, some of them came from Mourinho, who is fond of each of his players and is happy about their personal successes, calling La Joya even before fully realizing that celebrating didn’t even end yet. A curious and unique anecdote shared by the Argentine champion himself in an interview with Tyc Sports.

DYBALA: ‘MOURINHO HAPPY FOR ARGENTINA’

Paul Dybala recounted the anecdote in an interview with an Argentine newspaper: ‘After the match, I didn’t have my phone with me. I arrived in the dressing room, picked up my phone to talk to my family, I found 5 missed calls from Mourinho. When I called him back, he was really happy. He loves Argentinians and has always spoken well of the players he coached: Lo Celso, Foyth, Lamela, but also Di Maria and Paredes.’

DYBALA BRINGS PAREDES IN ROME

Regarding Paredes, Dybala revealed another behind-the-scenes story about his move to Roma in the summer after his time at Juventus: ‘He had told me he would return to Paris and needed to understand the situation with Luis Enrique‘s arrival. I discussed it with Mourinho, and he liked the idea.

Then, one day he came to me and asked, ‘So, is Leandro coming to us?’ and I replied with certainty. From that moment, I called Lea (Paredes), and I told him he had to come to Rome. Fortunately, it happened.

I wanted him to come here because we get along well, and football is lived here as it is in Argentina. We feel good and happy with our families here, and we are comfortable.'”
