DYBALA: ‘MOURINHO HAPPY FOR ARGENTINA’
Paul Dybala recounted the anecdote in an interview with an Argentine newspaper: ‘After the match, I didn’t have my phone with me. I arrived in the dressing room, picked up my phone to talk to my family, I found 5 missed calls from Mourinho. When I called him back, he was really happy. He loves Argentinians and has always spoken well of the players he coached: Lo Celso, Foyth, Lamela, but also Di Maria and Paredes.’

Regarding Paredes, Dybala revealed another behind-the-scenes story about his move to Roma in the summer after his time at Juventus: ‘He had told me he would return to Paris and needed to understand the situation with Luis Enrique‘s arrival. I discussed it with Mourinho, and he liked the idea.
Then, one day he came to me and asked, ‘So, is Leandro coming to us?’ and I replied with certainty. From that moment, I called Lea (Paredes), and I told him he had to come to Rome. Fortunately, it happened.
I wanted him to come here because we get along well, and football is lived here as it is in Argentina. We feel good and happy with our families here, and we are comfortable.'”
