In a recent interview with Radio Marte, Sabatino Durante, an intermediary and international football expert, revealed an interesting backstory about Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez.
According to Durante, Alvarez was very close to signing with Inter before he eventually joined the english club. Despite the conditions being right for the deal to go through, Inter’s management ultimately chose to focus on the return of Romelu Lukaku.
Durante went on to express his admiration for Alvarez, even stating that he believes the Argentine forward is better than Lautaro Martinez. Durante argued that Alvarez’s performance in the World Cup speaks to his abilities on the field. He even suggested that Inter should consider selling Martinez at the end of the season in order to raise significant funds for the club.
Ultimately, Durante believes that clubs should focus on the performance of players on the field rather than making snap judgments based on reputation or past performances. In his view, the most successful clubs are those that make strategic, long-term decisions, like Napoli with Kvara, Osimhen, and Kim. Durante suggests that it takes courage to make these decisions, but they can pay off in the long run.
