Denise Richards, the renowned actress known for her role in “Wild Things,” hinted at a potential comeback to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” despite leaving the show four years ago. Richards, 53, departed the franchise after Season 10 in 2020, but she recently expressed openness to rejoining the reality series.
In an interview with People at the Los Angeles Mission’s Easter Celebration, she said, “I always say, ‘Never say never.’ We’ll see what happens when they get around to going back for their season.”
Despite her tumultuous guest appearances on Season 13, which concluded in early March, Richards didn’t rule out the possibility of returning to the show. She mentioned that her recent clashes with co-star Erika Girardi wouldn’t influence her decision, saying, “I have nothing against her at all. It’s just, it’s silly fights on the show sometimes.” Their feud stemmed from a disagreement at a 2019 party where Richards objected to Girardi discussing “threesomes” in front of her children, leading to tension between the two.
Richards also addressed her past departure from the show after rumors surfaced about her alleged affair with Brandi Glanville. Despite being married to Aaron Phypers since 2018, Richards faced accusations from Glanville, who claimed they had a romantic encounter during a movie set visit in April 2019. Richards vehemently denied these allegations and cited them as part of the reason for leaving the franchise previously.
While some cast changes have occurred since Richards’ departure, including Lisa Rinna’s exit from the show in January 2023, the possibility of Richards rejoining the cast could bring new dynamics to the series. She mentioned that her decision to leave initially was due to finding some of her castmates “very toxic” and engaging in “dirty” play. However, she also emphasized the fun aspect of seeing women in her age group enjoying themselves on the show, suggesting that a potential return could bring a mix of drama and enjoyment.
