Chuck Norris has been admitted to a hospital following a recent medical emergency, according to reports from TMZ.

The 86-year-old action star experienced the incident within the last 24 hours while in Kauai, Hawaii. Details about the nature of the emergency have not been publicly disclosed.

Details about the what really happened remain unclear and mysterious, but accoriding to TMZ it is reported that Norris is in ‘good spirits‘ despite the unexpected situation.

Before the hospitalization, Norris had been spending time training on the island. The actor, widely known for his background in martial arts, has continued to stay physically active well into his 80s.

According to the Daily Mail, Norris had been feeling well shortly before the incident and was even joking during a phone call with a friend on March 18, suggesting the situation may have developed suddenly.

Norris, who holds black belts in multiple disciplines including karate, taekwondo, tang soo do, and Brazilian jiu jitsu, had recently shared a glimpse of his training routine.

Recent Birthday Message Highlighted Health and Gratitude

Just days earlier, on March 10, Norris celebrated his 86th birthday by posting a video of himself sparring with a trainer.

“I don’t age. I level up,” Norris wrote in the caption, marking the milestone.

He continued by expressing appreciation for his health and longevity, noting, “I’m 86 today! Nothing like some playful action on a sunny day to make you feel young. I’m grateful for another year, good health and the chance to keep doing what I love.”

In the same message, Norris thanked his supporters, writing, “Thank you all for being the best fans in the world. Your support through the years has meant more to me than you’ll ever know.”

Although he has stepped back from acting in recent years, Norris has not fully retired from the screen. He appeared in a cameo role on “Hawaii Five-0” in 2020 and later took on a lead role in the 2024 science-fiction film “Agent Recon.”

The sudden medical emergency comes shortly after Norris publicly reflected on his health and continued dedication to staying active, highlighting a contrast between his recent activities and the unexpected hospitalization.
