Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin was seen sharing a kiss with their transgender partner just two weeks before the killing according to the Sun
The arrest of Tyler Robinson, accused of assassinating conservative activist Charlie Kirk, has been clouded by questions over who exactly helped investigators crack the case, with rumors of a transgender partner now colliding with the confirmed identity of his roommate, Lance Twiggs.
The Roommate’s Evidence
According to an affidavit, Twiggs turned over incriminating Discord messages sent by Robinson after the shooting. Twiggs is a 22-year-old wannabe professional gamer from southern Utah who studied at Utah Tech University, according to his Facebook page.
The texts described Robinson stashing a rifle in a bush, wrapping it in a towel, engraving bullets, mentioning a scope and describing the rifle as unique, and changing outfits to evade capture.

Police later recovered a Mauser .30-06 caliber rifle wrapped in a towel, abandoned in a wooded area near the Utah Valley University campus, confirming details in the messages.
Transgender Partner or Gamer Roommate?
Robinson’s arrest was initially linked to reports that he had been living with a transgender partner who was cooperating with the FBI. The Daily Mail has now identified his roommate as Twiggs, though it remains unclear whether he and the reported partner are the same individual.
Neighbor Josh Kemp told The Sun he had seen Robinson kissing the partner just two weeks before the shooting. He described the individual as “weird,” dressed all in black with a mask, and claimed he overheard talk about a doctor’s appointment related to transitioning.
Sources also told the New York Post the partner was transitioning from male to female.

Kemp said he saw Robinson and the partner holding hands and driving off together in Robinson’s car. “It was about two weeks ago,” he recalled.
Twiggs’ grandfather, Jerry Twiggs, declined to clarify: “I don’t want to comment on that. I’m not sure what his situation is exactly right now.” He confirmed his grandson had spoken to police but has had no contact with the family since.
A Gamer’s Profile
Twiggs, like Robinson, was heavily into gaming and online culture. His TikTok account featured clips of Apex Legends, Valorant, and Rocket League, along with humorous posts like microwaving a bottle of Mountain Dew.
Friends said the two were part of a large Discord group chat with former Pine View High School classmates. It was there, investigators allege, that Robinson shared details of his plans.

Robinson had recently moved into what The Sun described as a “smart condo” decorated with a wreath on the door. The complex included a hot tub, swimming pool, fitness center, and walking trails, and sat about five miles from his family’s home.
Neighbors described the pair as reclusive. “They never really talked to anybody,” one said, while another remembered Robinson acting “nervous and scared” days before the killing.
Police Raid
On Friday morning, police raided the roommates’ Fossil Hills apartment complex, seizing bags of evidence and photographing the scene as stunned neighbors looked on. The affidavit makes clear Twiggs is not accused of involvement, only that he provided critical information.
Fallout and Speculation
Robinson is now in Utah County Jail without bail, facing aggravated murder and weapons charges. Governor Spencer Cox has called the killing a “political assassination” and claimed Robinson was “deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology.”
Still, the question lingers: was Robinson’s transgender partner the same roommate who turned him in, or a separate individual? For now, only one fact is certain: it was evidence from inside his home that led to Robinson’s arrest.
