The negotiation for Zlatan’s return to Milan is in its final stages: between today and tomorrow, the finalization is expected.
Tomorrow, Milan will depart for Lecce, where on Saturday, they will seek points for a comeback in the championship race. Meanwhile, Gerry Cardinale will board a plane bound for the United States.
Before leaving for USA, Milan’s first man spoke with ‘Gazzetta dello Sport‘ explaining the team’s current situation:

ZLATAN’S RETURN
Zlatan is expected to be the bridge between the management and the sporting area. Ibra will be connected to Milan, but more importantly to RedBird. He won’t have an executive role in the club’s organizational chart. His role, likely that of an advisor of the American fund that owns Milan.
At Milan, Zlatan will have various roles, from being a frontman on the international stage to being an motivator for Pioli’s locker room matters. Zlatan will travel from Milanello to the management, offering his perspective to the coach and players, many of whom have trained and played with him.
Zlatan will be able to give a lot more to the only club that has captured his heart among the many he’s played for in his 25-year career. As Cardinale put it “With him we will be complete“
