Interview in Appiano Gentile with the former Inter president who praised Inzaghi and also spoke about the Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez.
“This Inter team is really entertaining me a lot, they’re very strong and they play well,” said former Inter president Massimo Moratti outside the sports center in Appiano Gentile. It’s a trip down memory lane for Moratti who, among other things, talked about Lautaro Martinez: “Could he have fit into our team? Well, we already had Milito, so he would have to warm the bench for him (laughs), but he’s very talented.”
Moratti praises Inzaghi and talks about the Champions League
Moratti praised the Inter coach, Inzaghi: “I didn’t expect him to be this good, and he keeps getting better. It’s nice to have him at Inter because not only does he manage the team well, but he also makes them play well; it’s a pleasure to watch.” The former Inter owner added: “For me, Inter is the clear favorite in the league this year; as for the Champions League, I’m more superstitious.” Finally, a heartfelt statement: “Inter is a love that never fades, it’s something fundamental for us. It’s a very long and strong passion for the whole family.”
