Bruce Willis’ daughter shares an emotional instagram post of her father. How is he now?

Tallulah Willis, the youngest daughter of Bruce Willis, recently shared a touching tribute to her father, who is navigating life with frontotemporal dementia.

In an emotional Instagram post, the 30-year-old reflected on her love for her dad and her personal growth in embracing her emotions.

“Hey, I love this guy so much, and feeling feelings is tough stuff,” Tallulah wrote. “But I’m so grateful to let them flow through me now instead of disconnecting from it! From the forever archives๐ŸŒž.” The heartfelt message accompanied three cherished photos of her and Bruce, now 69.

Bruce Willis’ frontotemporal dementia diagnosis was publicly shared by his wife, Emma Heming Willis, in February 2023, following a 2022 announcement that Bruce had been diagnosed with aphasia and was stepping back from his acting career.

Frontotemporal dementia, as defined by the Mayo Clinic, is a category of brain disorders that affect the frontal and temporal lobes. This condition causes parts of these lobes to shrink, leading to symptoms such as speech difficulties, emotional struggles, and personality changes.

In a recent appearance on the Today show, Tallulah shared that her fatherโ€™s condition is stable. “In this situation, stable is good,” she said. “Itโ€™s hard. There are painful days, but thereโ€™s so much love. And itโ€™s really shown me not to take any moment for granted. I really do think that weโ€™d be best friends. I think heโ€™s very proud of me.”

Spending quality time with Bruce has become a priority for Tallulah, who told PEOPLE in August that she visits him as often as possible. She emphasized the importance of entering those moments with the right mindset.

“I make it a necessity to go into [each visit] open to what it will be, knowing that before I go in, Iโ€™m solid. Iโ€™m okay,” she said. “Iโ€™ve done what I need to do to make sure I can just be present.”

Tallulah, along with her sisters Rumer, 36, and Scout, 33, whom Bruce shares with ex-wife Demi Moore, continues to cherish the love and memories they create with their father, despite the challenges posed by his condition.
