Despite facing criticism for her transition into country music, particularly from rapper Azealia Banks, Beyoncรฉ remains undeterred. An insider mentioned that she is committed to highlighting the contributions African-Americans have made to the country music genre.
Banks was quick to criticize Beyoncรฉ after the album’s announcement, labeling her move into country music as “narcissistic” and predicting she would face backlash.
