Law enforcement sources told TMZ that a large quantity of unidentified pills was discovered near the scene. Burrell, 55, was reportedly found lying on the shower floor by her husband, Stuart Claxton, who last saw her alive around 1 a.m. before making the devastating discovery several hours later.

The New York Fire Department confirmed it responded to a cardiac arrest call around 7:50 a.m. on Tuesday. Claxton was allegedly advised to perform CPR during the 911 call, though it remains unclear if resuscitation was attempted before emergency responders arrived.
