Ahead of a crucial game against the Hawks, LeBron James makes a crucial decision

The self proclaimed King is dealing with severe pain in one of his feet, raising concerns about whether he will play in the upcoming game against the Hawks.

This Friday, December 6, the Los Angeles Lakers will face the Atlanta Hawks, but the biggest news is that LeBron James is a major question mark for the game due to pain in his left foot.

The veteran star has been listed as “questionable” by the Lakers, with his status being evaluated on a day-to-day basis. As of now, itโ€™s unclear if he will be part of the starting lineup. But the latest indication is that he will make an important decision and play tonight. The team desperately needs him.

So far this season, LeBron James is averaging 22.3 points, 9.0 assists, 7.9 rebounds, and 4.1 turnovers per game. While he is determined to lead his team, he admitted to the press just a few days ago, โ€œI feel bad, really bad. Thatโ€™s it. Itโ€™s the rhythm.โ€

LeBron is not really happy lately

On the other hand, the forward commented on the teamโ€™s overall performance this year. Following the Lakers’ recent loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, LeBron James added: โ€œWeโ€™re not doing well offensively right now. I think weโ€™ve focused too much on fixing our defense, and our offense has taken a back seat.โ€

JJ Redick, LeBronโ€™s coach, made strong statements regarding the idea of the NBAโ€™s all-time leading scorer playing every game without rest. โ€œI donโ€™t know if itโ€™s the best thing for him or for us if he does that, but if he feels good, then he should play. Weโ€™ll try to manage it as best as possible,โ€ Redick explained.

LeBron also shared his thoughts on this ambitious goal, saying, โ€œItโ€™s a goal, but weโ€™ll see.โ€ Naturally, with his declining performance, the specter of retirement looms in the minds of fans and media alike, though no official announcements have been made.

Like many professional basketball players, LeBron has dealt with numerous foot injuries throughout his career. These include sprains in both ankles, a toe injury, and trauma to the tendon in his right foot, to name just a few.
