Tullio Tinti’s words: “These are the first meetings, we’re talking about. There will certainly be room in the next few weeks too”
During a brief interview with FcInter1908 outside the Inter headquarters, Tullio Tinti, the agent of Alessandro Bastoni, gave an update on the player’s contract negotiations with the Nerazzurri.
“We’ve had our initial meetings with the club and we’re talking. There will certainly be more discussions in the coming weeks. Bastoni has always been an Inter fan, so… Should fans be worried? I don’t see why they should be”.
“It’s the journalists who create these rumours, neither Bastoni nor I have said anything like that. The player is an Inter fan and is very interested in staying at Inter,” Tinti said.
Tinti’s remarks refer to recent newspaper articles that cast doubt on Bastoni’s contract renewal.
Today, it was reported that there is a wide gap between the player’s demands and the club’s offer, with Inter aiming to close the renewal deal by the end of the season, to avoid a repeat of the Skriniar situation who Inter will lose on a free transfer this summer to Paris Saint-Germain.
