This is Jeff Bezos biggest investment in a documentary
Amazon has secured the rights to a highly anticipated Melania Trump docuseries, outbidding competitors with a record $40 million investmentโthree times higher than other offers, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The series will have two to three episodes and marks the e-commerce giantโs largest documentary deal to date.
This comes as Jeff Bezos has shifted his stance toward Donald Trump, despite their past conflicts during Trumpโs first administration.
In December, Bezos attended a dinner at Mar-a-Lago, signaling a thaw in their relationship. Reports also suggest that during the last election, Bezos prevented The Washington Post from endorsing Kamala Harris and later contributed $1 million to Trumpโs inaugural fund.
