Adani is not enthusiastic about Inter: “They gambled on the 1-0 in the first leg. Milan did better in London”

Ex Inter defender Lele Adani gave his analysis of Inter’s qualification for the quarter-finals of the Champions League in an interview with the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’.

“The Nerazzurri relied on their 1-0 lead from the first leg, and at that point, they needed to show fierce determination and application.

If they had offered little or nothing and given the opponent the center of gravity, they would have been in trouble.

The fact that the Nerazzurri were fortunate in both legs, especially considering that Otavio’s sending off was a turning point in the first leg and Pepe’s absence weighed heavily,” said Adani, who went on to say

“In a sense, Inter could afford this attitude, even if Milan’s approach on the pitch, defending well and always looking to counter, was more appealing. In fact, Milan may have deserved to win against Tottenham.”
