Police in Solebury Township responded to a home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, belonging to Hallmark star Mark Blucas, at around 6:30 a.m. local time on Friday, December 27, after receiving an emergency call, CBS News reported.
According to the police report, authorities found an unidentified 76-year-old man unconscious on the first floor of the house. He was rushed to University Hospital in New Brunswick, where he is currently receiving treatment.
Meanwhile, a woman was found deceased in a bedroom on the second floor. In a statement to USA Today, Bucks County Deputy Coroner Elliot Gross confirmed the woman was Dayle Haddon. He added that a toxicology report is being conducted to determine the official cause of death.
Other family members who were in the main house on the property are reportedly in good health. Police suspect a carbon monoxide leak, according to ABC 6.
Two paramedics were transported to a local hospital after being exposed to carbon monoxide, while one police officer received treatment at the scene, authorities confirmed.
Police currently believe that fumes from the boiler may be responsible for the actress’s death. However, they stated that the investigation is still ongoing.
Dale had signed contracts with four major cosmetic companies during her modeling career, according to her official website.
She appeared on the cover of the 1973 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and starred in several films.
