Prince Philip had a nickname for Meghan Markle. But he ‘would never say it to her face’

It’s not any secret by now… we all know Meghan Markle did not have a good relationship with the Royal Family. But now a new detail has emerged

According to a royal expert and biographer Ingrid Seward, the late Prince Philip harbored reservations about Meghan Markle and likened her to Wallis Simpson, the Duchess of Windsor. Ingrid Seward revealed that Philip saw resemblances between Meghan, Prince Harry, and Edward VIII’s relationship with Wallis Simpson, which led to him giving Meghan a nickname associated with the former Duchess.

MEGHAN’S NICKNAME

Seward explained that Prince Philip, known for his astute judgment of people, perceived similarities between Meghan Markle’s impact on the Royal Family and Wallis Simpson’s controversial influence on King Edward VIII. Due to this perception, Prince Philip reportedly referred to Meghan as “DoW,” an abbreviation for the Duchess of Windsor, in private conversations.

The comparison suggests that Prince Philip was cautious about Meghan’s potential impact on the monarchy and felt that she shared certain characteristics or influences with Wallis Simpson. This perspective offers insight into the complexities of the relationships within the Royal Family during Meghan Markle’s time as a member.

One thing is for sure, Meghan never felt as a part of that family and she will never be accepted as one of their own.
