Amber Heard had enough of all the drama and left the United States

Amber Heard, 35, is currently residing in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, along with her one-year-old daughter, Oonagh Paige Heard, following her high-profile legal battle with actor Johnny Depp. The actress has found solace away from the United States, staying with Hollywood writer, producer, and cinematographer Bianca Butti, who shares a preference for living in Spain.

Since Depp’s victory in the defamation lawsuit several months ago, he has been traveling extensively. In contrast, Heard has chosen to lead a secluded life with her friend in Spain, away from public scrutiny. She has opted to focus on her daughter and embrace a life independent of Depp’s influence.

Despite her privacy, Heard faces financial challenges due to the $8.3 million penalty resulting from the court ruling in Depp’s favor. She is currently appealing the decision, hoping to either reduce or dismiss the hefty amount altogether. However, her appeal request has already faced setbacks, with one judge denying her motion for a mistrial and retrial with televised proceedings.

Heard’s legal team cited discrepancies in the jury selection process as grounds for overturning the verdict. They argued that differences between the individuals summoned for jury duty and those who actually served on the trial panel warranted a reevaluation of the outcome.

While staying in Spain, Heard appears to be relishing her time away from the limelight, enjoying the Mediterranean surroundings and bonding with her daughter. She is also spending quality time with Butti, who has notable credits as a film director.

Heard’s recent Hollywood projects include roles in “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” and “In the Fire,” the latter of which is currently in post-production after filming concluded.
