Inter’s Scudetto, there’s a date. How many points are missing and when can they win: the calculations.
Just as with Napoli a year ago, in February, Inter fans are already beginning to play with the calendar to find out when Inzaghi’s team can arithmetically celebrate winning the Serie A title. Fans are allowed to do so after the 4-0 victory against Atalanta, which secured their first place with a twelve-point advantage over second-placed Juventus, with thirteen games remaining.
Inter: Calculating for mathematical certainty and the possible date
If Juventus were to win all their remaining matches, they would reach 93 points. Therefore, Inter would still need 25 points to secure the Scudetto. If the current gap were to remain, then the title could arrive by the thirty-fifth matchday when Inter will be visiting Sassuolo on the weekend of May 4th and 5th. Of course, the date could change depending on the upcoming results.
