When he arrived at Milan as a player, he was in the locker room where he could be loud and heard. Now, will he be in the locker room? Can he say something? Can he actually help Pioli?”
“This deal could also be a negative move for Pioli, he could lose his leadership. Or, perhaps I am wrong, and Ibra will actually motivate the staff and players to achieve significant results. We will see.”
On the club’s decision:
“Is the club’s intervention aimed at filling the void left by on-field figures like Maldini and Massara? Well That’s the real question. I believe he can play this role, but he also needs to learn, he is inexperienced in these matters. He can’t just dive into Milan and take over; he needs to be careful and have the support of the club.”
