The Juve coach after the victory against Verona: “We were organized until the very end. These matches are won only with patience.”
Massimiliano Allegri enjoyed the last-minute victory against Verona, which allowed his Juventus to take the top of the table, at least for one night. “Football is ruthless some times; you always have 95 minutes to win the game and sometimes you win it at the last second. On the substitution of Weah, Allegri explained, “He wasn’t feeling well; he had a slightly stiff hamstring, so I preferred to take him off. We needed a more technical player in the midfield, and Miretti had a really good game tonight.”
“We’ve earned three important points to follow up the victory in Milan, but also to distance ourselves from the fifth position,” he explained to Dazn. “The season is still long, and we have collected 23 points so far, and we’re pleased with that.”

Regarding the standings, he added, “The standings need to be watched. We need to look at the fifth position most importantly (refering that the team’s goal is to return to the Champions League). It should be a source of satisfaction for all the lads; the group is extraordinary, and tonight, they gave it their all.”
