Giuseppe Marotta first explained his experience with a foreign ownership, that of Suning: “Even without huge investments, the ownership still guarantees us a competitive squad. We had to sharpen our wits, make the best of what we have. And last year, we reached the Champions League fina… The advantage of this ownership is that it allows you to work without any interference.”
Later, speaking to Sky, Marotta commented on the early part of the season: “We have many players called up by their national teams, which means our squad is strong. The loss to Sassuolo and the draw with Bologna are part of the journey of a season, patience is needed.”
“I can only be optimistic and happy with Inzaghi’s work, we are very happy with him. Lautaro? I consider him a champion, and he has given us a lot of satisfaction. Today, he’s the captain, and we hope he can become our symbol and represent Inter for many years.”
