Saudi Arabia loses to South Korea, another defeat for the former Italian national team coach.
NEWCASTLE (England) – The enthusiasm for the new role, at the helm of the Saudi Arabian national team is quickly fading for the ex Italian coach who has collected 2 losses in his first 2 games.
The national team’s results have been disappointing, and so far, Roberto Mancini‘s work has not added any value. Following the 3-1 defeat against Costa Rica, the Saudis suffered another loss, this time against Heung Min Son’s South Korea.
Mancini’s Saudi Arabia was defeated by South Korea with a score of 1-0. The decisive goal was scored by Cho Gue-Sung. Mancini’s false start, for now, hasn’t sparked controversies. However, considering the hefty salary awarded to the Italian coach, perhaps even the Saudis expected something more.
