The Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper has revealed his thoughts after the start of the Serie A season and his thoughts on the favorites to win the Scudetto.
As a guest on “Supertele,” a program broadcast on Dazn, Gianluigi Donnarumma highlighted the favorites for winning the Serie A championship: “I’ve watched Inter, I always follow them. I think it’s a great league, and all the teams are strong. Milan has built a good team, with many new players who have already settled in well. Pioli is working positively. But we know how strong Inter is, and Napoli, having won the title, is also a contender. Many teams could be in the mix until the end, but I believe it will be a three-way battle between Napoli and the Milanese teams.”
Donnarumma continued, “I think there are several teams that can compete until the end. Inter, Napoli, Milan; it will be a highly competitive Serie A, and we will enjoy it. As for the top scorers, I know Lautaro well because he has scored against me a few times. Osimhen is a force of nature, but I don’t know him personally. I think they will make the main impact in the top scorer rankings”.
