“Jennifer Lopez’s father, David Lopez, has skillfully avoided commenting on her many divorces over the years. He had no intention of discussing her most recent split from Ben Affleck, but he did briefly address it.
When asked about his daughter’s divorce and the end of her marriage, David jokingly replied:
‘I have no idea.’
David was spotted at a sports rehabilitation center near his property in the San Fernando Valley. This was his first public appearance since Jennifer decided to end her marriage with the famous actor in August 2024.”

David Lopez was married to Jennifer’s mother, Guadalupe, from the 1960s until the 1990s, when they eventually divorced. Interestingly, David has been spotted wearing a wedding ring, despite no indications that he has remarried since their split.
Jennifer has had four failed marriages: to Ojani Noa in 1997, Cris Judd in 2003, Marc Anthony in 2014, and most recently to Ben Affleck in 2024, after four years together.She also had a failed romance with New York Yankees legend Alex Rodriguez and previously dated Ben Affleck from 2000 to 2004, before breaking up for the first time. Fortunately, the one man she can always rely on is her father.
“He really thinks about what I’m going through. He once told me, ‘I just want you to know that, out of everyone in the world, there’s one person who loves you and doesn’t want anything from you,’” Lopez said about her father.
