Joke of the day: Couple married for 35 years go to couple’s therapy

Marriage can be a complex journey filled with ups and downs, especially after several decades together. Here’s a tale of a couple who turned to a therapist to resolve their long-standing issues, only to find an unexpected twist:

A couple married for 35 years sought counseling to address their issues. When asked about their problems, the wife launched into an exhaustive rant, detailing every grievance from their long marriage: neglect, lack of intimacy, feelings of emptiness and loneliness, and a pervasive sense of being unloved and unlovable.

After listening for a considerable time, the therapist stood up, walked over to the wife, and after asking her to stand, he embraced and kissed her passionately. The husband watched this with a raised eyebrow as his wife, taken aback, quietly sat down in a daze.

The therapist then turned to the husband and said, “Your wife needs this kind of attention at least three times a week. Can you manage that?”

The husband replied, “Well, I can drop her off here on Mondays and Wednesdays, but Fridays are my fishing days.”
