98-Year-old elderly woman moves in a retirement home to take care of her 80-year-old-son

There’s a unique power in a mother’s love, beautifully exemplified by 98-year-old Ada Keating. Ada made the heartwarming choice to move into a nursing home alongside her 80-year-old son, Tom, to provide him with the specialized care he needs, which the facility’s staff couldn’t fully provide.

With a lifelong career as a nurse’s aide, Ada’s expertise was precisely what Tom required.

Tom, who previously worked as a painter and decorator, became a resident of Moss View Nursing Home in 2016 due to his need for constant care.

The bond between Ada and Tom is deeply affectionate; they have a nightly ritual of bidding each other goodnight and cherish spending time together, especially while watching TV.

Whenever Ada goes out for a hairdressing appointment, Tom eagerly anticipates her return, welcoming her back with a warm embrace.

Having never married, Tom has spent most of his life in the loving company of his mother, demonstrating the strength of their unbreakable bond.

Ada poignantly expresses, “No matter your age, you’re always going to be my child.”
